About me
About me
My practice and experience
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in multiple domains, including diagnostics and therapy of psychotic disorders, addictions, psychosomatic disorders, and psychooncology. In addition to my private practice, I am also a clinical-psychological practitioner at a clinic focused on differential diagnostics of children, adolescents, and adults.
I am also trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy with a special focus on prevention and treatment of trauma (Rafael Institute, Prague). In my work I honour my clients' complexity and originality, individually applying different perspectives and approaches.
My early work experience revolved around psychological trauma treatment, with a particular focus on psychological trauma caused by interpersonal violence and catastrophes (Caritas Intl., CAFOD).
I also have extensive experience with relocation and adaptation difficulties experienced by involuntary migrants and expats (Healix, WorkPlaceOptions, and the US Embassy in Kinshasa, DRC).
I did my first Masters in Jewish philosophy and religion at the University of Oxford. I then studied psychology at Charles University in Prague and later obtained a doctorate in psychology from Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK.
